About BYCAF

From the Start

The Belmopan Youth Climate Action Fund is a grant program designed to empower young people in Belmopan to lead climate action initiatives. It provides funding (up to $10,000 BZD) for youth-led, innovative, and community-focused environmental projects. The program aims to overcome barriers young people face in accessing resources, encourages leadership, fosters teamwork, and promotes technology-driven solutions to real-world climate challenges. By supporting these initiatives, the fund helps nurture future leaders who are actively engaged in protecting and improving their environment.
